polpettas goes to paris

In September 2013, the main Parisian museum, the Louvre Museum, launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise the necessary money to restore the sculpture of the Winged Victory, one of the symbols of the museum itself, the Nike of Samothrace.

The campaign had the emblematic name of Tous mécènes, and really everyone could participate with any amount starting from € 10. Polpettas was one of the 6700 donors taking part in the crowdfunding.

In July this year the magnificent sculpture came back to its place at the top of the Daru staircase, and all the donors have been invited by the Louvre Museum to go and admire her brand new dress: and here we are!

We also had a quick tour of the Paris, some exhibitions and many walks, here is our itinerary and some addresses.
